Rik is a longtime friend of Mike's. In fact, they went to high
school together. Having lost touch over the years, it was through a high school
reunion that they met up with each other again. Rik has been a great source of
encouragement and a guiding light when all the rest seemed like darkness.

Bob Norman has been another big source of encouragement for the
band. Not only is Bob a great performer, but he holds a special get-together of
singer/songwriters on a regular basis where he offers help and guidence. |

Handy |
Spook not only runs the longest running open mike in NJ, but he is
also a big help to performers having written many articles about becoming a
better performer. He has a great finger-picking style guitar sound and
fantastic voice. |
| Ingrid
Heldt |
Ingrid is one of the greatest ladies I have ever met. Her songs
speak of deep feelings, and when you meet her you see it in her eyes. Ingrid is
a woman of many talents and is just great fun to be around and learn from. |
| Virago! |
Amy Schindler and Maire Tashjian form a band called Virago. They
have a fantastic stage presence, and some terrific songs. Amy plays guitar
while Maire plays drums. Seeing them live is a great experience. They will
absolutely knock you out! |

Hudson |
Although we don't have regular dealings with Bill Hudson, we always
enjoy the chances we get to do things with him. Being with him at the
Clearwater Festival now for several years has always been a great experience.
He is just one of those guys that makes you feel at home. |

Michael Miller |
Another friend from Mike's old high school. Bruce is down in
Nashville and plugging his songs to the big players of the world. His CD is one
of those "must have" CDs. Bruce really writes from the heart. |

The North Eastern Regional Folk Alliance is a great organization
for east coast folk artists. They have a regular meeting once a year where
musicians come together and share information and meet and greet venue
operators. |

these people are a great organization of artists and fans dedicated to the
encouragement of folk music. |

A great magazine for keeping up with the doings of the folk music
world, Sing Out! has been bringing news and support for folk musicians for many
years now. |

Clearwater is an organization started many years ago to educate the
public about the need to protect our environment. They have a ship to take a
trip on while they teach sailing and about the environment. It is a great
organization to belong to. |
