WRITER'S NOTES:

I wanted to do a fun song.  Something that talked about that night life in a smoke filled bar with people dancing and trying to pick up a lady for the evening.  Something that said that there was some special move that they could make that would get the girls.  It is, of course, quite tongue in cheek. 

I was never the bar fly.  Oh, I tried once or twice to go out to a bar and pick up a lady.  But I quickly found out that it just wasn't me.  I'm way too shy to go up to strange women.  If my wife hadn't come up and asked me for our first date, I may have been single all my life!

But I wanted a song that said that I was an expert on the subject.  I guess I have a weird sense of humor.  And of course, the 12 bar blues is just the right way to give this type of advice.  HA!
